SWINDON Spitfires Development secured a 3-1 victory at Marlborough Town in the Open Age divisions.

Natasha Zebroski opened the scoring for Spitfires on 20 minutes after she burst through before chipping the home keeper.

Seven minutes later Marlborough pulled back a goal.

Spitfires regained the lead 30 minutes into the second half as Hannah Gulliver’s 35-yard lob beat the stranded Marlborough stopper, before Gulliver completing the win in injury-time with a fine free-kick from the edge of the area.

n Spitfires United cruised to an 8-0 victory over Warminster Sky Blues.

United opened the scoring in the first minute as Katrina Reynolds slotted the ball home from Sandra Higgin-Hughes' corner, before Claire Moreton doubled the lead five minutes later following Kristina Gough’s cross.

Carla Compton made it 3-0 after the break after some good work from Moreton.

Diane George netted the fourth after she headed home a Moreton corner on 53 minutes, before Gough made it 5-0.

Compton netted her second of the match on 70 minutes, before Higgin-Hughes got on the scoresheet to make it 7-0.

Debutant Jena Hawkins completed the scoring as she fired through a crowded area in the final minute of the match.

Poppy Cottrill bagged a super six as Spitfires Under 17s defeated FC Chippenham 8-3, Katrina Reynolds added the other two.

Spitfires’ Under 13s beat Highworth Town 4-1 with Kimberley Jackson netting a brace, while Kayliegh Stanley and Erin Pearce added the others for the victors.

Lauren Bulley grabbed Highworth’s goal, while Molly McGouran, Enya Marsh and Dani Wells put in impressive performances.
