PRIMARY Schools FA held their third annual five a-side festival for younger pupils recently at the @Futsal Arena in Kembrey Park.
More than 120 children took part in the two events for girls and boys aged seven to nine years old.
Association secretary Steve Beale said: “As the only local organisation with permission from the English Schools Football Association and Department of Education to run inter-school football, we feel these festivals are an excellent way to involve young children in the sport.
“The emphasis is on the children having fun and representing their schools, rather than on winning a tournament.
“Each player received a medal and a certificate in recognition of them taking part.
“We are very grateful to the support from Ignite Sport UK who helped fund the events and to @Futsal Swindon for hosting them.”
