AN UNDER 12 Division Three top-of-the-table clash saw Swindon Rangers come back from 2-1 down to defeat Highworth Town Juniors 3-2.

Harri Crook, Harry Farrow and Ryan Dunn were on target for Rangers.

Under 13

Division 1

Highworth Town Juniors T got 2016 off to a great start with a deserved 3-1 home win against Croft Juniors Blue.

Thomas Harris put them 1-0 up with a fantastic strike in the first minute, with Josh Uzzell and Cameron Hicks adding the others in the second half.

Under 14

Division 1

Highworth Town Juniors H secured a 4-2 success over Lydiard Millicent Juniors.

The hosts were without a recognised keeper and Lydiard started very strongly but couldn’t get a breakthrough.

Highworth opened the scoring against the run of play through a lovely composed finished from Jack Paines just before the break.

Connor Butler doubled the lead when he fired home from long range before Lydiard pulled a goal back.

Goals from Kassa Anderson and Connor Robb looked to have sealed the points but Lydiard hit back almost immediately to set up a nervy finish.

Division 3

Northside Athletic Colts looked like they would caused a upset when they went 3-0 up before half-time against high-flying Highworth Town Juniors.

However, Highworth hit back to snatch a point following a last-minute equaliser.

Cory Adams (2) and Shannon King netted for Northside, who also had Tomas Frimart and Tom Brewster impressing.

Under 16

Division 2

Wanborough’s new signing Luke Bolton struck twice in their 2-2 draw at Ferndale Rodbourne.

Division 3

Stratton remain the team to beat at the top of the table after a 4-1 win over Blunsdon.

However, it was the visitors who took the lead.

Player of the match Dan Thomas equalised with a stunning strike 20 minutes later to leave it level at half-time.

Stratton took control in the second half, with goals from Yousuf Rafiq, Tom Stickley and Jack Newton sealing the win.

Under 17/18

Division 2

Swindon Supermarine had to come back from being 2-0 down to overcome Hungerford Town 3-2.

After a goalless first half, Hungerford took a 2-0 before Joe Miller managed to pull a goal back and Oli Frost equalised thanks to a Jake Tyson assist.

Then with only a couple of minutes to go, Jason Brien grabbed the winner.

Division 3

Highworth Town Juniors T cruised to a 4-0 win at home against Chippenham Town.

Zachary Steel opened the scoring before Callum Bragg made it 2-0.

Mason Lach got the third from a corner and Steel swept in his second and Highworth’s fourth with a superb run and shot from outside the box.
