SWINDON Supermarine J’s winning streak of 10 Under 12 Division One games came to an end as they lost 3-0 to champions Croft Juniors Red.

Marine put in a fine display against undefeated Croft but they let themselves down in the final third. Most of the visitors chances when they did occur fell to Luke Legg, while Harry Johnson and Max Townsend impressed in the build up.

Joah Hall saw a long range shot go wide as the two sides went in at the break goalless.

Marine had a penalty appeal waved away after Max Townsend was sent tumbling in the box, while Josh Godwin saw his low drive well saved.

The hosts took the lead following a goalmouth scramble, before a sublime finish doubled Croft’s lead.

Croft added a third to seal the points.

Under 15 Division 1 Croft secured a comfortable 3-1 win at Ferndale Rodbourne where an early penalty by Archie Benge and a header from Brandon Pyatt set them on their way. A saved penalty by William Hickey preserved the lead and a Noah Howell goal in the second half sealed the win before Brandon Page scored a late consolation for Ferndale.
