CRICKLADE MTA blew their chance to put the Division Four title race to bed at the weekend after they were thumped 5-1 at home by third-placed Croft Junior.
That result keeps Willowgreen Hotspur two points clear of Cricklade at the top of the table, although Tom Underwood’s side have a second chance to be crowned champions as they still have one game to play.
Woodlands Edge cemented their position as runners-up in Division Three with a 6-2 thrashing of hosts Chiseldon Sunday.
Stratton Saints edged out Rudis 2-1 in the division’s only other fixture.
Purton Red House triumphed 3-1 away at Highworth Town Sunday in Division Five, while second-placed side Haydon bettered that result with a 3-0 win over visitors Save on Tyres.
