Gareth Davies has been shrewd in the transfer window as Fairford Town looks to build on their fourth-place finish last year.
Josh Morse from Swindon Supermarine has been his biggest scalp, along with the addition of Dan Drewett, Nathan Blackford, Chris Jackson and Paul Holmes.
“This year, more than ever, has been non-stop, but that is good,” said Davies.
“The lads we have brought in are Rolls Royces and kind of what we needed.
“A lot of teams were after the players that we brought in. We knew who we wanted in the summer, we only wanted four to improve us massively and they have all signed.
“We got Josh Morse as well, which kind of came out of the blue, but when someone like that becomes available you have to do what you can to nick them.”
Drewett, Blackford, Morse and Jackson were all entrusted by their new manager for the first game of the season against Abingdon United which ended in a 2-1 defeat for Fairford.
