FAIRFORD Town manager Gareth Davies is under no illusions that his team will have to play to their full potential on Saturday if they are to get a result against early Division One West pace-setters Hook Norton.

“They won’t be bad, they beat us twice last season and those goals we conceded effectively cost us third place,” said the Fairford boss.

“We’ve trained well during the week and we had a good win at the weekend, so we are as prepared as we can be but anything can happen.

“Everyone is available, we have a pool of around 17 players who are all capable, it’s a headache but a good one to have.”

Elsewhere, Purton will hope to put their 3-1 defeat at Norton behind them when they travel to North Leigh.

Shrivenham’s 2-1 win over Swindon New College last weekend puts them in good stead for hosting ninth-placed Tytherington Rocks, while College’s search for points continues as they hit the road to face Woodstock Town, who are also searching for their first win.

Finally, Paul Braithwaite’s Royal Wootton Bassett Town side face another stern test in the Premier Division as they host Binfield, who currently sit in second in the table after starting the campaign with three wins in a row.
