SHRIVENHAM Town manager Michael McNally is hoping everything will click into place ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Cirencester Town Development.

McNally’s men go into the game on the back of an impressive 4-1 victory over Woodstock Town on Bank Holiday Monday.

“I’m feeling confident, we don’t seem to be firing on all cylinders at the minute, which is frustrating for me because I can see all the potential,” said McNally.

“We aren’t quite clicking and hopefully in due course it will happen. I’m pleased with how everything is going, we are all working hard.

“It’s probably because it is early in the season, I’ve brought in three or four new faces, one or two have had a late pre-season. Another two or three weeks and they’ll start playing as a team, sometimes it’s confidence but they keep putting three points on the board is all they can do.”

Steve Pleass (ankle), Joe Branch (ankle), Callum Little (calf), Luke Kuczinski (broken jaw), Lewis Ray (cut eye), Jamie Prictor (groin) and Kias Bonner-Shea (knee) will all miss out, but McNally is willing to give others a chance to impress.

“Cirencester have had a bit of a goalfest over the bank holiday so they’ll be full of confidence, it will be an interesting game,” added the Shrivenham boss.

“I’m looking forward to it, there won’t be much in it we are missing quite a few players with injury which doesn’t help. They’ll be big misses, but it gives you the opportunity for some of the lads who have been on the bench to put their mark on it.”

Fairford are not in action this weekend, while New College Swindon and Purton are in the Hellenic Challenge Cup as they travel to Clanfield 85’ and Oxford City Nomads.
