Manager Phil Harris was delighted with his team, but will not be getting carried away early on.

“It was a very tight first half, you couldn’t really split the two teams. We went in at 1-1 which was fair, it was a bit of a midfield battle,” said Harris.

“Chances were few and far between. No disrespect to Dorcan but we dominated a bit more in the second half, we scored four more goals.

“I’m very happy with the second-half performance in particular. Dorcan played some great football at times but when we attacked, we did in numbers.

“It’s a great start to life in the top division for us.

“It has been surprising to an extent but we won promotion and the cup last year sol we know how well we can play.”
