SWINDON Supermarine came back from behind at the Ray Mac as they claimed a point against Salisbury last night.

Dave Webb’s side travelled with the hope to go one better than the weekend, where they were beaten 5-0 by Taunton in the FA Trophy.

Supermarine were on the wrong side of the early exchanges as Kane O’Keefe went close for the hosts in the opening six minutes.

Twenty minutes later Salisbury drew first blood when Lewis Benson slotted his shot into the top right corner of the Marine goal.

It then went from bad to worse for Webb’s troops as Salisbury added a second on the stroke of half time through George Colson.

However a much improved second half from the visitors meant they shared the points, the first goal came four minutes after the interval when Brad Hooper dispatched from the spot, before Connor Waldon’s 73rd minute goal got them on level terms.

Fairford were also involved in league action last night as they registered a 6-0 win away at Holyport.
