SWINDON Supermarine J U13’s unbeaten start to the season shows no signs of abating after they progressed to the third round of the Wiltshire FA Minor Cup.

The South Marston side headed to Greenmeadow Youth U12 and returned home with a 9-1 success and six different players on the scoresheet.

After scrappy start, Marine took the lead when Harry Money headed home a Luke Legg corner before Josh Pickett came to the visitors rescue to save a Greenmeadow penalty.

Money bagged his second to double the lead before James Hurst added a third.

Max Townsend gave Supermarine a 4-0 lead before the break when his corner deflected off the Greenmeadow keeper into the net.

The hosts began the second half well and Marine needed a goal-line clearance from Tadhg O’Callaghan to keep them out.

Joah Hall added the fifth for the visitors before Greenmeadow pulled a goal back.

However, Marine powered on and made it 6-1 with Townsend’s second before Owen Spavins netted the seventh.

Hall made it 8-1 with his second of the match before Josh Godwin completed the scoring for the visitors.
