SWINDON Town ladies are facing one of their biggest tests of their FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division season tomorrow when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Shrivenham’s Barrington Park (2pm).

Steve Robertson’s side had an enforced break from action last Sunday when their home clash with C&K Basildon was postponed.

Now having had an extra week’s rest to recover from their 5-0 defeat at Portsmouth a fortnight ago, last year’s South West Division One champions know that things won’t be getting any easier.

Town, who have won two of their league matches to date this season, face a team currently sitting in second place in the table and level on points with leaders Cardiff City Ladies.

However, Robertson’s side are no strangers to Spurs, having travelled to north London at the start of the season as well as facing them in the women’s FA Cup last term.

Tottenham ran out 4-1 winners back in August as well as taking the honours in the cup clash last term by the same scoreline.

After the visit of Spurs tomorrow, Swindon are not schedule to be in action again until December 11 when they entertain West Ham United, who sit second-from-bottom in the table - one place below Town.
