SHRIVENHAM have appointed Nick Moore as the Hellenic League Division One West side’s new director of football.

Moore will work alongside boss Michael McNally and the reserve team management and primarily play a part in the club’s recruitment process, as well as focusing on the U16s side through to senior level.

“Nick has a wealth of experience at local level so he was the obvious choice for the role and we’re delighted he accepted our offer,” said club chairman Matt Hirst.

“He’ll get involved in observing our first and reserve team games and highlight performances both good and bad so as we can best work out how we can improve.

“He’ll also be the ‘go to’ person for Macca (McNally), Stevo (Mark Stevens) and Slicker (reserve team boss Steve Hendry).

“He’ll also get involved in monitoring players attitudes on and off the pitch during match days as well as on training nights and ensuring that the guys are in the right frame of mind and as someone they trust, will be there for anyone who may be struggling for whatever reason.”
