SWINDON Supermarine boss Dave Webb is aiming for double-figures when he takes his side to Salisbury tonight.

Marine’s 1-0 win over Didcot Town on Saturday meant Marine stretched their unbeaten run to nine Southern League West games.

Despite the daunting trip to Salisbury, Webb sees no reason why his side can’t aim for a perfect 10 at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.

“We have a massive test against Salisbury, obviously we know how good they are and we watched them last week,” said Webb.

“They tore Cirencester Town apart and they beat Poulton Rovers at the weekend, but we have go there and see if we can extend it to double figures.

“I said to the players when they woke up on Sunday morning, they should have been focussed on Tuesday’s game.

“If we aren’t at a really good level, the run will end and we don’t want it too.

“They’re a big club, we respect them for the players and the set up they have got, but I want to forget about that, it’s 11-v-11 and we will try to win.”

While Marine are enjoying their unbeaten run, Webb does see it as a target on their back for teams to be the one who bring it to an end.

“We know what they do, we know how they set up and I can’t see that changing so they’ll want to bring the game to us,” added Webb. “They will want to break our unbeaten record and we want to go there to try and maintain it.

“Something has got to give, it will be a big game, they’re the games you look forward to playing.”
