SWINDON Supermarine’s superb start to the season shows no sign of abating after Dave Webb’s men clocked up a 10th match unbeaten this season with a 2-0 victory at county rivals Salisbury in Southern League West tonight.

Webb’s side recorded a fifth straight win in the league this season as two second-half strikes did the job at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.

The first half ended goalless but took a decisive swing in Marine’s favour in the dying moments as the home side’s Marvin Brooks was red-carded for an apparent stamp on Marine’s Ryan Campbell.

The Marine man exacted full revenge six minutes into the second half as he netted the opener.

George Kellow wrapped up the points in the dying moments for the visitors.

In the Hellenic League’s Perpetua Press Floodlit Cup, Shrivenham lost out 4-1 to Oxford City Nomads.

Josh Fowler netted for Gareth Davies’ men.
