NEW College Swindon’s U19 Netball squad will be taking on a regional tournament after winning the U19 Wiltshire Schools County Netball Tournament at Dorcan Academy recently.
New College won all nine of their fixtures in the tournament, recording notable scorelines such as 28-2 over Warminster School and a 30-1 success over Swindon College. The squad will next travel to Bournemouth in January to represent the county in a regional tournament.
Sue Harrison, Netball Coach was delighted with her side and the style of their victories, she said: “Their outstanding performance dominated the U19 age group. The attacking play was brilliant as we were very strong and the opposition struggled to keep pace with the fluidity of our play.
“The team passed the ball with speed and accuracy and showed a high level of commitment and determination by dominating their games.”
