Carlin claim Doha silver
SWINDON'S Jazz Carlin tonight claimed a silver medal in the women's 800m freestyle at the World Short Course Championships in Doha.
Commonwealth Games champion Carlin, who had the third fastest time in the field prior to the event, clocked 8:08.16 behind Spain's Mireya Garcia Belmonte, who set a new championship record in 8:03.41.
The Netherlands' Sharon Van Rouwnedaal was third.
