Lawn claimed double Regional success in their recent matches.

The Regional Two team took on top of the league Titans and led 5-4 after the first quarter but their opponents had nudged ahead 17-15 at the half.

Lawn came out fighting in the third quarter following two changes, player of the match Maddie Durham in at wing attack and Georgia Wing at goal defence, and edged ahead 22-21 by the end of the third.

The fourth-placed Swindon side stayed composed in the final quarter and held out for a 27-26 win.

Lawn Under 16 met with Jersey Jets for the second time in their regional competition and led 18-16 at the half, thanks to excellent shooting from Neav Ingram (GS) and Hannah Ruddle (GA).

A close third quarter followed, but Lawn increased their lead in the last, winning the match 38-31.

RAYCHEM were 44-42 winners in their recent clash against Exeter at New College.

With key shooters Kelly Morgan and Jenny Gray unavailable, inspirational captain Claire Baverstock with a frozen shoulder and mid-courter Hayley Reeve nursing a broken wrist, the squad pulled in players from the unbeaten Swindon league A team, but trailed by five at the half.

Five unanswered goals at the start of the third quarter brought the scores level and Raychem came through to secure their Regional League One status in their first season back at the level.
