WILTSHIRE rider Jamie Skuse moved up to second spot in the Pro Expert Championship class after round four of the Phoenix Tools Ifly Premier Motocross Championship at Foxhill Moto Parc near Swindon, writes DAVE RICH.

Skuse, from Calne, clinched two eighth-placed finishes and a seventh to move up a place and trail leader Shane Carless, from Wales, by 36 points with six rounds remaining.

2014 European 250 champion Steven Clarke was on form all day, securing a hat-trick of wins, while last year's champion, Luke Hawkins, from Radstock, had two fourths and a sixth.

Radstock's Carl Dezis dropped a place to fourth in the Over Age class standings after a third, fourth and fifth-placed finish.

Championship leader Jamie Carpenter, 15, took all three wins in the Junior Championship section, the 15 year old holding off wildcard Josh Coleman to extend his overall advantage.
