ROBB Holland has been named as the replacement driver for Swindon’s Simon Belcher for the next three rounds of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
Hailing from Denver, Colorado, Holland will join leading Independents Trophy team Handy Motorsport for the events at Snetterton, Knockhill and Rockingham.
Belcher, who remains as the team principal of the Swindon outfit, will return to race action for the final two events at Silverstone and Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit.
Belcher took the decision to step aside from active competition for budgetary reasons following heavy car damage sustained in qualifying at Thruxton in May.
“We’re obviously delighted to welcome Robb into the team, he’s exactly the sort of driver we wanted and everyone at the team is looking forward to working with him for the first time”, said Belcher.
