HARRIET Hillman returned home from the European Biathle Championships with three gold medals for Great Britain Great Britain in Turkey.
Nine-year-old Harriet, from Cricklade, won her first medal in the Under 11 mixed relay category at Kusadasi.
The second gold came in the individual Youth E (U11) girls race,coming out of the swim and transition just behind a Hungarian opponent. On the final 500m run, she came home six seconds clear of second place.
Her Youth E GB girls team also won the overall team gold medal.
In addition to her success in Turkey, the Wiltshire girl attended the Wiltshire Sports Awards presentation dinner and was awarded a ‘Funding Future Olympians’ sports scholarship by Wiltshire Council.
The Swindon Harriers and Tigersharks ASC member will next compete in the British Biathlon Championships in Solihull on November 28.
