DORCAN Academy’s Jamie Kimber picked up the gongs for her wins in the Reading Track League at their recent presentation evening.

The 14-year-old, from Swindon, has had a good year in the long-established cycle racing league.

Stretching from April to September, Cotswold Veldrijden’s Kimber secured numerous victories, with wins in the women’s pursuit championships, the women’s endurance league and the women’s keirin league. She was also a runner-up in the women’s overall championship and placed third in the derny championship.

Neil Rutter, a teacher at St Joseph’s School, won the overall track league, scratch championships and men’s keirin league.
