SWINDON started 2016 with impressive win 96-84 at Horspath.
Historically a tough place to visit, with its tight and technical corners, Swindon, who were missing a couple of key riders, rode sensibly throughout the meeting.
Led by the evergreen Steve Harris, they got heat advantages where possible to comfortably put the meeting to bed.
The hosts were led by current British champion Zac Payne, who only dropped one point all day to Swindon’s Jake Neighbour in their opening heat.
Swindon’s next meeting is at the Oasis Leisure Centre on Sunday, April 24, where they host the Poole Comets.
