SWINDON Robins secured their play-off berth on Sunday with a convincing home win over the Exeter Aces.
Recruiting a few former riders in the form of Danny Harper and Shaun Rudman, the Swindon team were too strong for an Exeter side who were missing a few key riders.
The Aces were leading by a point at the halfway stage, however, with Steve Harris leading from the front, some great passing by Jake Neighbour and Harper collecting valuable points ensured Swindon will head into the playoffs full of confidence in three weeks time.
Rudman will also be pleased going unbeaten in his three riders, having not been on a bike in a few seasons.
This concludes racing at the Oasis this year, but with two away matches to go, including the play-off final, there is still much to ride for and silverware to claim.
