LAWN A continue to lead the way with their Raychem counterparts in Swindon & District League Division One despite a slow start against Nationwide A, before they eventually prevailed 44-39.
Player of the match was Goal Attack Macy Dawson.
Lawn and Raychem B could not be separated in their Division Two meeting, which ended 36-36, with Lawn’s player of the match being Holly Atkins.
Royal Wootton Bassett A still await their first victory, after losing out 46-41 to Nationawide B, despite a player of the match effort for Mollie Smith.
Lawn C clinched their second straight win at the start of the season as they saw off Delta A 48-33, Ava Kirby being named played of the match for Lawn and Jess Sutton winning the honour for Delta.
The Lawn D team sit on top of Division Four after their 56-26 triumph over their Pinehurst counterparts, player of the match Hannah Simpson’s shooting proving key.
A strong start Royal Wootton Bassett B team saw them take the lead in the first quarter against Delta B, going on to win the match 48-34, with Goal Shooter GS Kath Young their player of the match.
But Lawn E were unable to follow up their their opening win as they went down 22-14 to Croft D.
Bassett’s C team lost out 37-30 to Jets B, with Goal Defence Jess Smith named their player of the match.
Lawn made it two wins from two in the O35 League as a player of the match performance from Kate Dawson helped them beat Bassett 54-17.
Lawn's Regional League Three side were edged out 35-40 by Challengers in their opening league fixture of the season.
