SWINDON'S Oliver Bull made a fantastic single-seater debut in 12-lap Melton Concrete Products Castle Combe Formula Ford 1600 Championship race at Castle Combe's Husqvarna Springtime Raceday on Bank Holiday Monday, writes CHRIS JAMES.
Bull won Class C, for pre 90 cars, and was 11th overall, as Bridgwater's Josh Fisher, in a Mygale SJ03, came through a tremendous battle with young brother Felix (third) to take overall victory.
Edward Moore, from Bradford on Avon, brought his Van Diemen RF00 home fourth, with 45-year old Andrew Jones, from Castle Combe, sixth and Chippenham's Adam Higgins seventh.

Cirencester's Tom Margetson was 19th and Cricklade's David Tansley 27th in his first Formula Ford race.

The 20-minute LMA Euro Saloon & Sports Car Championship Race was won by Rhys Lloyd of Carmarthen in a Seat leon cupra R, with Cirencester's Alex Heynes, in a BMW E36 M3 3000, 13th and Andrew Telling Renault Clio Cup 19th.
The 10-lap Lenham Cars MG Midget Challenge saw Dauntsey's Peter Collinson have a steady drive to finish fourth overall, winning Class B, after major engine problems in qualifying.
