PEATMOOR School will represent the borough at the Wiltshire Youth Games after winning a tournament to find Swindon's best Year Six hockey team.
They will be joined at the county competition on May 19 by Abbey Meads, who finished as runners-up in the competition for mixed teams of 10 to 11-year-olds.
It has been a tough process for the two qualifying teams.

In March, schools from across Swindon participated in a festival organised by the Swindon School Partnership in conjunction with Swindon Hockey Club.
The top five teams were then invited to compete for the title of Swindon Champions, with Peatmoor pipping Abbey Meads, and Tregoze just missing out in third place ahead of Ruskin and Red Oaks.
The Swindon Sports Partnership has 12 families of schools, consisting of a secondary school with all of its feeder primaries, making a total of 83 schools.
The partnership receives government funding to work towards a number of objectives - with each school offering at least two hours of high quality PE and school sport being the top priority.
