JOSH Loughrey is on course for another good tournament on the Alps Tour after completing his opening round at the Open de la Mirabelle d'Or level.
Loughrey sunk five birdies in his opening 10 holes, as well as dropping one shot, but a double bogey at 15 and two more dropped shots over the next three holes saw him slip back to level par.
It was not such a good day for Josh’s brother Ben, who missed the cut at the EuroPro Tour event at Cumberwell Park despite making par over his two rounds.
The Wrag Barn player was three-over at the end of his first round and, although he clawed those shots back in his second, it wasn’t enough for him to make it into the second day of the event.
