DAVID Howell was set to resume European Tour action this morning in the first round of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic at the Emirates Golf Club.
Howell will be hoping to improve on his showing at last week’s Commercialbank Qatar Masters, where he failed to make the halfway cut.
The Broome Manor pro was due to get underway at 7.55 am local time (10.55am GMT) this morning alongside Paul Lawrie and Arjun Atwal.
The former Ryder Cup star won the event in 1999, his inaugural European Tour victory
