SWINDON Hockey Club has had another great year of junior hockey, culminating in five of its players being selected for Junior Regional Performance Centres (JPRC).
Year nine pupil at Wootton Bassett Academy Emily Arrell, Paige Warman, Chloe Lewis and Charlie George, who both played in the Ladies' first team in the Premier 2A division, and Pete Gilbert have all received the call.
Meanwhile, in addition to the five selected players, Shona O’Dwyer, a year 12 pupil from Dauntsey’s school and a regular Swindon Ladies first team player will also be dropping back in to the JRPC from the England NAGs (National Age Group) Academy.
O’Dwyer has been attending the NAGs academy for the past nine months and regularly travels to Taunton to attend sessions, as well as attending regional camps.
