SWINDON’S last league match of the season finished in the same vein as many others, on the end of a defeat having had control of the game, as Bristol University A won 4-3 in GoCrea8 League Conference North.

After being 3-1 up with just under 15 minutes remaining, they crashed to defeat in the last minute.

The first half started well for the home side, who took an early lead thanks to Tom Gillingham from a well-worked penalty corner, but they were pegged back minutes later.

Swindon regained the lead on the stroke of half-time, Tom Lentchner scoring from a penalty corner strike.

The home side extended their lead midway through the second half, but a subsequent missed penalty stroke from Tom Hunt, after a foul on Tom Goldsmith, proved crucial.

The visitors attacked on the counter, netting twice from penalty corners before grabbing their late winner.
