NICKY Watt has warned Peterborough that it’s payback time as the Phantoms prepare to make the trip to the Link Centre tomorrow (5.45pm).

Swindon have made two journeys to Planet Ice this season and ended up defeated on both occasions, the last coming in controversial circumstances on Sunday.

Referee Jurijs Solovjovs ruled Peterborough had scored with a second to play in regulation time, before they went on to snatch a 4-3 victory in overtime.

It was a painful loss for Swindon to swallow, bearing in mind they had led 3-0 at one point, and forward Watt told the Advertiser the Wildcats must bounce back tomorrow night.

“I think we owe them now,” he said.

“Nothing less than a regulation time win is going to do us, and we’ll be going all-out for that.

“I’ve picked up my goal-scoring in the last couple of games so I’m playing with a bit more confidence, and Hoogy (Jonas Hoog) got back on the scoresheet last weekend after a couple of games out of it.

“The third line played phenomenally all weekend, Jonesy (Chris Jones) got his first EPL goal for us and the Taylor boys (Loris and Floyd) both stepped up and had massive weekends.

“If we can get everyone going on the same page, we’ll be OK.”

Saturday’s game at the Link Centre will see the Wildcats run their Kids Go Free promotion, in a drive to get more fans through the door.
