TICKETS for the first leg of the Swindon Wildcats' Challenge Cup semi-final against the Manchester Phoenix go on sale today at 1pm.

With Cats looking to bring a major trophy back to Wiltshire the tie, which takes place at the Swindon Ice Arena on Wednesday, January 28 with a 7.45pm face off, is expected to be a sell out. The clubs are advising supporters to get their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Having topped the southern region Challenge Cup table with 22 points, the Wildcats drew the north table runners up Phoenix. North region winners, the Telford Tigers, face Guildford Flames in the other semi-final match up.

Current season ticket holders are advised that they only have until 6pm on Wednesday, January 21 to reserve their usual spot before any unsold seats will be made available for general sale.

The second leg of the semi-final will take place at the Altrincham Ice Dome on Thursday, February 12 (face off 7.30pm).

Cats next game is Saturday, January 17, at the Link Centre, when the table-topping Tigers provide the opposition in a 6pm face off.
