SWINDON Wildcats’ players swapped their sticks and blades for drivers and spikes as they held their first Golf Classic yesterday.
The event, which was raising proceeds for the club’s Wildcats In The Community programme, which has been building “players for life” for more than seven years, was held at Broome Manor.
Nine teams of four took part in the event, including one from the Adver’s sports desk.
Five of Stevie Lyle’s Wildcats squad also took part, with Aaron Nell, Michael Crisp, Ollie Betteridge. Lloris Taylor and Lee Richardson all hitting the course.
