SWINDON Wildcats have announced the arrival of two new non-executive directors at the club ahead of the new season.

Excalibur chief executive officer James Phipps and Paul Norbury, CEO at Cardwave, have both opted to increase their support of the Link Centre club during the 2015-16 campaign.

With both men hugely experienced in their respective local companies, they will contribute to strategic issues at the club as the Cats continue to progress under their locally owned and operated ethos.

Cats general manager Steve Nell said: “James and Paul will be a great asset to the club and will be heavily involved in the club’s future vision and growth plans.

“We are delighted that they have accepted our offer to join the club as non-executive board directors.

“We are sure they will both make a valuable contribution to the club’s direction and strategy and help us achieve our growth plans for the future.

“They will be a tremendous support to the Wildcats in our goal of creating an Ice Hockey legacy in Swindon and becoming a force in British ice hockey.”
