SWINDON Wildcats will take on Guildford Flames in the first round of the English Premier League play-offs next weekend.
Following the conclusion of the regular season yesterday, it has been confirmed this morning that Aaron Nell’s side will lock horns with third-placed Guildford over two legs for the right to reach finals weekend in Coventry.
Cats will host the Flames at the Link Centre on Saturday, April 26, before making the trip to the Spectrum in Surrey for the return leg on Easter Sunday (face-off 6pm).
Nell’s troops, who finished sixth in the EPL table, rounded off their regular season campaign with a four-point weekend, beating Hull Pirates at home and Telford Tigers on the road – they won both matches 7-4.
The Wildcats ticket office is already open for Saturday’s play-off home leg. Call 01793 886857 for more information.
