WE are on a bit of a tough run at the moment having lost our last four games in a row but the guys are not feeling too down.

In those first three games, we actually felt that we had played some of the best hockey we have done all season, so it was a bit frustrating to come off at the end having lost the game.

At Sheffield last Sunday night, we just didn’t perform the way we wanted to and that was disappointing but the mood within the locker room is still pretty good because we feel that, overall, we have played some good stuff recently.

We are going to have to come up with some sort of plan this weekend because we have had this tough four-game spell. We need to do something different to try to get out of this run we are on.

I was really excited to get to training last night. It was the first one for most of us since the last game, so I was eager to get there, look at the videos and see what the plan is going to be.

I’m not sure what our coach, Aaron Nell, is going to do but I am sure he will come up with something.

We have got a few guys out too because of injuries, so that’s another reason why we are going to have to change our style of play a little bit.

We are probably going to have to try to win from a defensive press. We can’t run and gun because we just don’t have the numbers at the moment.

This weekend is unusual in the fact we only have one game but as a player, it doesn’t really change our mindset too much as we approach it. We go into every game trying to win and that’s exactly what we will do up at Peterborough.

There’s another difference too this week as we will be away from home on a Saturday night, which will be a bit strange, and it’s a tricky rink to go to as well.

We’ve been there twice already this season and haven’t won yet so there is plenty of motivation going there as we don’t want to get bounced three times in a row at the same place.
