SWINDON Wildcats made it a four-point weekend with a 2-1 success at Streatham in NIHL South.

Having recorded a 7-4 victory over Invicta Dynamos at the Link Centre on Saturday night, Aaron Nell’s side headed to north west London looking to make it four wins on the bounce, after defeating both Basingstoke Bison and Telford Tigers in the NIHL Cup the previous weekend.

Cats opened the scoring in the sixth minute when Sam Bullas found the target after being played in by Nell.

The Barnet-based side drew level three minutes later thanks to a strike from Adam Carr.

In the second period, former Wildcat Ryan Watt was ejected from the game after he retaliated to Max Birbraer, who received a two plus 10 stint in the box for checking from behind, who had taken him out.

In the 34th minute, Nell gave his side the lead when he tapped the puck home after being played in by Sam Zajac.

Wildcats were put under pressure in the final session of the match but managed to hold firm to take the two-points.
