A DISAPPOINTING week got worse for the Wildcats last night as they slipped to a 5-3 defeat at Bracknell Bees.
The visitors fell behind in the first period as Shaun Thompson opened the scoring at 11:54 for the home side and despite Bracknell also taking a couple of penalties, Swindon too lost a man as Joseph Hazeldine took two minutes for tripping.
The scores were levelled at 30:15 as Phil Hill notched for the Cats, assisted by Edgars Bebris and Floyd Taylor.
However, Bracknell were back in front before the end of the middle session as Frantisek Bakrlik found the net, Swindon also losing Sam Godfrey to a two-minute holding penalty.
Luc Johnson again restored parity at 43:54 but later took two minutes for tripping and goals from Alex Barker and Matt Foord gave the Bees command.
Cats netted for a third time but, as they pursued the leveller, shipped a fifth seconds from the end.
