THE ever-consistent Lee Richardson will be back to lead the Wildcats by example after agreeing to stay in Wiltshire for a fifth consecutive season.
Skipper ‘Rico’ enjoyed his best season to date last term, clocking up 44 points and putting in a number of committed performances to help steer Swindon into the play-offs.
Richardson is looking to guide Swindon to some long-awaited silverware this season.
He said: “I’m excited to be coming back and I am looking to improve on last year’s team and personal performances.
“I really like the look of the team that Ryan (Aldridge) is putting together and I firmly believe that we can challenge for honours next season.”
Head coach Aldridge added: “He is one of the best two-way Brits in the league and is a penalty kill machine. It’s great to have him back in our line-up.”
