Lossnitzer represents England

SABINA Lossnitzer, who plays for Swindon Under 14 A and Swindon Under 16 A, has just returned home from representing England Under 14s.

Lossnitzer, from Headington, was a part of the national side that played in the Hungarian capital of Budapest, where they won two of their four matches.

England were ultimately beaten by the two teams that ended up in the final.

The youngster was the only girl in the England side, as they fought gamely against much larger and older opposition, and earned themselves a 50-50 win record during the tournament.

A tour of the United States beckons for Lossnitzer in the summer as she has been chosen to be part of a UK select squad, which is a superb achievement.

Her family are seeking sponsorship as training and tours are expensive to finance, with her kit alone costing £2,000 a year.
