SWINDON Wildcats have re-signed three of their star players from the 2007/08 season as Peter Russell looks to build a force to be reckoned with in the English Premier League.
Matty Davies, Lee Richardson and Michael Farn have all put pen to paper on new deals at the Link Centre, just days after Cats' exciting play-off push came to an end against Slough Jets.
Davies, 18, notched 62 points last campaign and is widely regarded as one of the best British players in the league.
Richardson is a product of the Wildcats' youth system and returns for a second season after stints with Elite League clubs Coventry and Cardiff.
Farn is another exciting youngster who, like Davies, represents the Great Britain under 20 team.
Swindon head coach Russell was thrilled to keep the trio in Wiltshire for next season.

He said: "Both Michael and Matty are very talented young players with a big future in the sport, and I am very pleased they see that future with the Wildcats.
"Lee is another fantastic signing for us. Being such a young team we need more experienced players like Lee and I know he is glad to be back with his home town team."
Wildcats general manager Steve Nell added: "All the boys put in a tremendous amount of effort this season and to win away against EPL runners-up Slough was a tremendous achievement.
"It just shows how much progress the club has made.
" I would like to thank all of our fans for their fantastic support throughout the recent play-offs and throughout the season as a whole."
