Meads off to flyer
ABBEY Meads C made a great start to 2015 with a 41-29 win over Moredon C.
Meads started slowly but were ahead at quarter time 7-6.
In the second quarter with some accurate shooting by Laura Kirk and Tracey Absalom they increased their lead to 16-13.
The third quarter saw Georgina Brain take the goal shoot position and with the great attacking skills of Ehlana Drury and Georgina Turner Abbey Meads pulled away to 30-19.
The momentum was continued in the last quarter and with some great interceptions by Nicola Gillhespy, Zoe Fryszka and Michelle Coombe throughout the game.
