RAYCHEM lost their latest Regional League One clash against Galmington 70-52.

Delta Reds A held the upper hand in their Swindon & District League Divison One meeting with Lawn A, prevailing 20-19 despite a player of the match effort from Lawn’s Julie Harris.

Croft A continued their winning streak after beating Corsham A 26-14 and Raychem B were defeated 39-19 by Razzle Dazzle Raychem C were edged out by a single score in their Division Two clash against Pinehurst C.

Raychem D maintained their pursuit of the Division Three after a 42-12 success over Abbey Meads C.

The defence of Kirsty Moore, Elaine Edwards and Dani Tea helped Raychem to a 7-3 first quarter lead and they continued to pull clear. Nationwide C came out on top of their clash with Abbey Meads D 26-14.

Benita Mudhar starred for Lawn D in their 23-10 success over Croft D in Division Four Raychem F secured a 49-33 victory over Coleview in their crunch Division Five top-of-the-table clash.

Raychem jumped out to an 11-7 lead and a good third quarter saw the leaders pull clear of their second-placed rivals, with goal defence Becki Martin the player of the match.

Lawn E were 31-27 winners over Fairford C, with centre Ellie Holloway being named player of the match.

Lawn over 35’s remain the unbeaten leaders after their 34-16 success over Nationwide, Shelley De Boer receiving the player of the match award.

Lawn’s Under 16s team continued their South West Regional League campaign with a 39-36 victory over Cornwall’s Saints and a defeat against Bath at Clifton last weekend.
