SWINDON are looking to put a dismal performance against Windsor behind them and return to winning ways when they host bottom of the league Bletchley tomorrow.

Sean Lynn’s men had a weekend off after being beaten 39-17 at Windsor and they will be looking to continue their good home record.

The side will be without number eight Tom Mannion who is nursing a sore knee, but apart from that will have a full squad to pick from for the clash.

Skipper Adam Westall is hoping for an improved performance from Swindon but he will not be taking their opponents lightly, despite their league position.

“We’ve had a few bruised bodies recovered, and it is a bit of a refresher, having a week off and watching some rugby on the Saturday, and I think the boys are very keen for the weekend,” he said.

“I think I would rather come back to a tougher game, although everything is tough in this league at the moment, there is nobody getting pumped.

“We played pretty poorly against Windsor and that is probably one of the poorer Windsor sides I have seen and they have beaten us convincingly in the second half, but every side has those days.

“This week we will be looking to right that wrong, and at home it is important we get our intensity right and our accuracy and it is important we keep our home record running at the moment.

“I think if we get our game right we are a match for anybody in this league.

“We have high expectations as a group of players and we have not been hitting those high expectations in the last couple of weeks so there are a few people who need to stand up and man up this week.”
