ROYAL Wootton Bassett director of rugby Alan Low has said that the players who missed the 27-17 success at Milton Keynes won’t just walk back into the side.

The Ballard’s Ash outfit go in search of their ninth successive win tomorrow when they make the journey to fourth-placed Thatcham.

Bassett, who sit one place above their hosts tomorrow in Southern Counties North, were missing several players at Milton Keynes last Saturday including Liam Rowe, who was on England Deaf international duty at Cardiff Arms Park.

“They are going to have to work hard in training this week,” Low said.

“The players last weekend did a fine job and the ones who were missing aren’t necessarily walking straight back into the side.”

Meanwhile, Supermarine are still searching for their first win of the season and tomorrow they make the journey to Walcot in Southern Counties South.

Coach Sean Millwaters has already started planning for next term in the division below as he continues to blood his young players.

However, aside from looking to cut the margin of defeat again, they lost 57-0 last weekend against leaders Swanage and Wareham, the Marine boss wants to see his side on the scoresheet, something they have failed to achieve in 2015.
