DORSET & Wilts host Hampshire in their final RFU County Shield pool three match at Bestwall Park, Wareham, on Saturday.
The Twin Counties, fresh from victories over Middlesex and Essex, are chasing the victory that would see them travel to meet the winners of Pool One, either Leicestershire or Oxfordshire.
Defeat for the 2010 and 2011 winners could mean Dorset and Wilts have to travel as far north as Cumbria for the semi final of the national competition.
Royal Wootton Bassett's Dave Hogg captains the side.
