SWINDON face a tough prospect if they are going to continue their mini run of three games without defeat as they head to Salisbury tomorrow.

The Castle Road outfit sit second in the South West One East table but Sean Lynn’s side travel to south Wiltshire full of confidence, having won on their last three outings.

Swindon will be without openside flanker Mike Thompson, who is unavailable, but that won’t stop Lynn’s men trying to inflict back-to-back defeats on their hosts.

“They seem as if they are very well organised and have a very good set-piece and you have got to have something about you to be second in the table for this part in the season,” said the Greenbridge Road chief.

“We are looking forward to the contest.

“We have all got to be switched on in training and discuss our tactics and hopefully come matchday we are all singing off the same hymn sheet.

“It was by the odd try that we lost to them last time out.

“They have got a very good scrum and they did capitalise on that. That is something we will be looking at in training to ensure the forwards are as a unit.

“If we do get good set-piece ball then we need to make sure we can get in behind them out wide and go from there.”

Meanwhile, Supermarine will be looking for revenge when they play host to Corsham in Dorset & Wilts One North having fell to a 26-14 defeat back in October.

“It would be nice to bounce back,” said head coach Sean Millwaters.

“We lost to Corsham down at their place and I think the scoreline flattered them and we were better than that.

“I think if we get it right we will come away with a victory.

“We’ve got a run of a few games where we should pick up some wins so it would be nice to start with the Corsham game.”
