DORSET & Wiltshire's women's team marked their first fixture in the Gill Burns County Championship with a thumping 74-0 win against Cornwall at Warminster RFC on Sunday.
The squad made of players from various sides across the two counties won 74-0 against Cornwall, Ellingham & Ringwood's Georgina Henry scoring three tries on her debut with two tries coming from both Supermarine's Harriet Pearson and Oakmeadians' Louise Burgess.
The kicking points and try apiece were shared between Oakmeadians' Hannah Wilson and Supermarine's Alex Barnes.
Other try scorers included Supermarine's Annabel Martin, Hucclecote's Catrin Garland and skipper Claire Chard, also from Supermarine.
The county side will take on Hertfordshire this Sunday (May 6) against at Warminster, with the campaign continuing at Taunton against Somerset on Saturday, May 12.
Dorset & Wilts head coach Brett Bader said: "They demonstrated a dynamic playing style with lots of continuity and game sense and should be immensely proud to the start of their campaign.
"The approach taken is very inclusive, maximising attendance for lots of players to experience this level of play at training.''
