FOUR of Swindon’s first team squad members have been selected to represent Dorset & Wilts in the County Championship tie with Berkshire at Swanage & Wareham this afternoon.

Greenbridge Road captain Adam Westall will fill in at fly-half for the counties, with Ben Saville starting at hooker and Tom Mannion in the back row, whilst Connell Knott has been named amongst the substitutes.

Swindon coach Neil Loader, who is also involved in the Dorset & Wilts coaching set-up, said: “It is really good for the guys, I’m pleased with it and hopefully the lads will get confidence from the experience.

“I nominated four of my squad to the selectors and all four got in, which is really pleasing.”

It is the first time Mannion and Knott have been involved in a County Championship squad, although all four have been part of Dorset & Wilts teams in the past.
